Polyhedron Collider Episode 159 - The Best Games We Played in 2024

Happy New Year Colliders! Its the end of the year, which of course means that its time for our annual review of our favourite games of the year, so join us as we talk about the best board games and table top RPGs that we played in 2024. We also talk about the highly coveted Andy's Insert of Choice Award and attempt to pick our game of the year (which may not have been released in 2024).

Check out what other reviewers are listing as their game of the year.

Polyhedron Collider Episode 158 - Endeavor Deep Sea, Castle Combo, Moving Wild, & Pathfinder 2nd Ed

During this season, it is a tradition for board gaming and RPG podcasts to embrace the festive spirit, sing, and celebrate. The Polyhedron Collider team will follow a more typical custom by indulging in too much drink and sparking a debate!

In this episode, the boys from the PhC will be challenged by Endeavor: Deep Sea, the poker-themed card game The Gang, and the newest drafting game from Oink, Moving Wilds. We also share our appreciation for the charming Castle Combo and offer our insights on the popular roleplaying game Pathfinder Second Edition.

Polyhedron Collider Episode 157 - Shackleton Base, Duel for Middle-earth, and Undaunted 2200: Callisto

We’re flooded in, which means more time for games. We battle out in the future in Undaunted 2200: Callisto, colonise the moon in Shackleton Base: A Journey to the Moon, and decide the fate of the peoples of Middle-Earth in The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth.

We then dive into the mail bag talking about two player games and our Kickstarter red flags, ending with the most important question of them all: do Yorkshire puddings deserve to be on a Christmas dinner?
